Birchwood, WI – On Twin Lakes
If I could give my couples one piece of advice, it would be this.
Don’t to take your wedding too seriously.
No, I’m not telling you to take the decision to getting married lightly. But on the actual wedding day… don’t let Pinterest-perfect expectations get the best of you.
It’s great to have a beautiful wedding, but even better to have beautiful memories of the day.
Truthfully, I’ve been sitting here trying to think of what to write in Chelsea + Danny’s blog post from On Twin Lakes and this topic is what stood out to me.
If you flip through the photos, you’ll see moments and memories. This is because, these two chose to be present with their guests… and above all, have the time of their lives.
Don’t sweat the small stuff.
And always remember, to put more effort into your marriage than into your wedding.
One HUGE win for this venue, is that you’re able to book the site for the whole weekend vs. trying to cram decorating and clean-up in on your actual wedding day.
